He said other actions will continue during the Easter festivities if government does not quickly intervene.

Yaw Barimah who could not hide his pain about how government has removed taxes on most businesses but still kept taxes on fuel said it is unfair since they are suffering.

But the Executive Secretary of the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers Ghana (COPECGH), Mr. Duncan Amoah has advised drivers of the “True Drivers Union” to immediately put a halt to their planned demonstration on Wednesday.

According to Mr. Amoah, prices of petroleum products will reduce in the month of April since stakeholders in the petroleum industry are working assiduously to ensure that drivers do not bare the huge cost of petroleum products.

He also said the action will be a needless one and therefore appealed to their leadership to rescind the decision.
