The government of Turkey has pledged to support Ghana’s drive towards industrialisation through ‘One District, One Factory’ framework.
The assurance was given by the Turkish ambassador to Ghana, Ms Nesrin Bayazit, when she paid a courtesy call on the new Minister of Information, Mustapha Hamid.

Mustapha Hamid urged the diplomat to help facilitate the influx of Turkish investors to Ghana, as the country had a favourable environment towards foreign investors.
Trade between Turkey and Ghana stands at 400 million dollars and according to the ambassador the goal is to add an additional 100 million dollars in four years.
The ‘One district, One Factory’ policy was one of the new government’s flagship promises ahead of their hugely successful electoral victory in the December 2016 polls.
