DKM management begs customers to stay

The plea comes after the Bank of Ghana lifted a day moratorium placed on the accounts and operations of the company for breaching the Banking Act.

Management of embattled microfianance company, DKM are appealing to their customers in the Western, Brong Ahafo and Northern Regions of the country not to leave the company.

The plea comes after the Bank of Ghana lifted a day moratorium placed on the accounts and operations of the company for breaching the Banking Act. According to the Central Bank, DKM Microfinance did not have enough in assets to match the liabilities owed to their customers.

The Chief Executive Officer of DKM Diamond Microfinance, Martin Delle has urged customers of the company to continue doing business with them despite its earlier troubles.

However management of DKM say the company will officially resume work at all branches nationwide on Tuesday September 22.

Martin Delle said in an interview.

According to him, BoG came in to rectify their operations which they obliged.

DKM has come to stay as it  is tried and proven by the BoG.’’ Meanwhile customers of DKM have welcomed the decision by the central bank to lift the moratorium on the operations of the microfinance company. Some who spoke to Citi Business News said they were earnestly waiting to receive their cash next Tuesday
