Gov't partners AGI to celebrate 60th anniversary

The government of Ghana has asked the Association of Ghana Industries to organise a trade fair as part of celebrations of the sixtieth anniversary.

The fair is aimed at promoting made in Ghana products and also discussing and effecting policies that support Ghanaian industries.

Chief Executive officer of the AGI, Seth Twum Akwaboah told Accra-based Starr FM that it was about time the Trade Fair Center was revamped and put to good use.

“For the past decades, Trade has always been part of the independence celebrations and AGI being part of the trade Fair arrangements; we want to make sure things go well. We want to bring various Ghanaian products to the Trade fair and market it very well to the world”.

He said the Association is putting in place measures to ensure the anniversary fair attracts many Ghanaian participants as well as foreigners.
