This is how much Ghana's energy sector owes- Infograph

Undeniably, Ghana’s Energy Sector has not been shining examples for many. The debt levels are alarming and frightening and concern to stakeholders. Here is a breakdown of government’s energy sector debt.

At the end of 2016, Ghana's net debt owed banks and fuel suppliers under the energy sector debt hit 1.2 billion cedis.

Reports say as at 31st December, 2016 Government’s net debt in the Energy sector was 2.3 billion dollars.
