Thomas Ngba, Chairman of the Dangote Cement local union said they wish to caution management for the last time on the need to improve the conditions of service of workers.

“ We find it difficult paying our bills at home. Our families are complaining, and yet we spend all our hours working for this company. Why do we have to suffer like this.”

Mr. Ngba further complained about the fact that workers, in some cases have to foot costs of operations in their line of work.

“Can you believe that truck drivers who are in charge of distributing goods across the country foot their own travel expenses like food and lodging?”, he quizzed in a statement released to the media.
