Brussels Airlines cancels flights

In a statement, Brussels airlines office in Ghana stated that all “Passengers holding a ticket for a Lufthansa Group flight (Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines and Germanwings) between today and 28 March to/from/via Brussels can rebook or refund their ticket for free.”

About 400 flights at Brussels were canceled Tuesday morning, according to Daniel Baker, CEO of flight tracking site FlightAware.com. Flight to Ghana were also canceled.

Brussels airline in total canceled 173 flights, Baker said.

Belgian Taxi drivers urged its members to offer free rides to those stranded after the terror attack.

In a tweet, the union said, “Friends offer your services to your fellow citizens and help evacute people safely. Thank you.”
