In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the airline indicated commencement of flights to Brussels effective today, March 23.
About 400 flights at Brussels were canceled Tuesday morning, according to Daniel Baker, CEO of flight tracking site FlightAware.com. Flights to Ghana were also canceled.
Brussels Airline in total canceled 173 flights, Baker said.
A Belgian taxi union urged its members to offer free rides to those stranded after the terror attacks.
In a tweet the union said, “Friends offer your services to your fellow citizens and help evacuate people safely. Thank you.”
