The sons of the legendary Ghaianain footballer Abedi 'Pele' Ayew were involved in circumstances that shared some strange similarities: they both scored in the same league, on the same day, and in the same minute - albeit in different games for different teams.

It happened on the final day of the 2016/17 Premier League.

Jordan, 25, scored in the 72nd minute of his club Swansea City's 2-1 Premier League win over West Brom on Sunday May 21.

Andre, 27, also scored in the 72nd minute of his club West Ham United's 2-1 win Premier League over Burnley on Sunday May 21.

It gets better and spookier.

Last season, Andre Ayew was on the score sheet for Swansea City (where he used to play) on the final day of the season. He got a goal in the Swans' 1-1 draw with Manchester City on May 15, 2016.

This season, his little brother Jordan not only found himself playing for Swansea (he joined from Aston Villa in January), but he also, bizarrely, found himself scoring on the final day of the season as well.

So basically, we don't only have two brothers scoring in the same minute of the same day, but also on the same match-day for the same club in two successive seasons.
