A statement from the GAF said that an advert in Monday’s (April 24, 2017) edition of the Ghanaian Times and another in the Daily Graphic on Friday (April 28, 2017) will tell where the scratch cards for the application can be bought.

"The sale of online application Scratch Cards will commence throughout the country on Tuesday 25 April, 2017 at designated Ghana Post Offices listed in the advert. The portal for the online application will be activated from Monday 08 to Wednesday 31 May, 2017. Interested persons can log on to www.gaf.mil.gh to apply.”

The statement further warned the general public against middlemen who often swindle potential applicants claiming to help them get listed in the service.

“The Ghana Armed Forces wishes to inform the general public that the Force does not employ middlemen or charge fees for recruitment. The public therefore strongly advised to desist from paying monies to any person(s) who present themselves as agents or middlemen with the promise to help potential recruits join GAF.”

It added that such middlemen should be reported to the nearest military instalments or Police Station for further investigations.
