Kwadwo Asamoah in tears after suffering another injury

Ghanaian player Kwadwo Asamoah will have scans on his sprained knee after Juventus confirmed his injury.

 

Asamoah was hauled off in the 1-0 win for Juventus for suffering a sprained knee.

The Black Stars midfielder has been excellent for Juventus this season after putting his injury setback from last season behind him. However, Saturday turned out to be another problem for Asamoah on the injury from with the Italian Serie A champions confirming on their official website:

"Kwadwo Asamoah and Daniele Rugani underwent medical tests following tonight’s match away in Palermo, which revealed sprains to their right knees.

"Both players will undergo more specialist checks tomorrow at J-Medical."

The injury fo Daniele Rugani is reported to be nothing serious but Kwadwo Asamoah could be out for a lengthy time on the side-line as the Ghanaian was spotten in tears following his sprained knee injury.

The injury could also be a huge blow to Ghana as the Black Stars are set to begin the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia. Avram Grant and his men also have the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Black Stars vice-captain Andre Ayew is already injured and set to miss the tournament in January.
