Ghanaian defender misses Chelsea's win against Liverpool

Abdul Baba Rahman did not play a part in the International Champion's Cup game against Liverpool in the early hours of Thursday.

Baba Rahman travelled to the United States of America with his Chelsea team and trained with the squad ahead of the fixture against Liverpool.

The player was however left out of the starting XI and also failed to come on as a substitute.

Gary Cahill scored an early goal in the 10th minute which proved to be the winner in the International Cup game against Liverpool.

Cesc Fabregas was sent off in the game as his Chelsea team played the final 20 minutes with ten men.

Baba Rahman who joined Chelsea at the start of last season is reported to be under the radar of new manager Antonio Conte who is deciding on whether to keep him or let him go.

The Black Stars defender’s international teammate Christian Atsu did not travel with the Chelsea team to the United States of America.
