AshGold share honours with WAFA

The league champions drew their 10 league game of the season, as WAFA held them to a goalless draw at Obuasi.

Ashanti Gold dominated WAFA in both halves of the game and created several goal scoring opportunities, but the balls were not just entering into the net, despite Ash Gold persistence to break the deadlock.

The worst of it all was that Dauda Mohammed wasted a penalty that came the way of the Miners in the second half of the game.

The last time AshGold managed to win a home league game was match day 1 against Medeama SC, but have since lost 2 and drawn 5 as the host.
